Jovan Adepo is an Anglo-American actor. He is best known for his role as Cory Maxson in the film adaptation Fences, and he also starred in the 2018 film Overlord and as Lionel Jefferson on the CBS special 'All in the Family / The Jeffersons. Adepo has appeared in the When They See Us series, the second Jack Ryan series, and the Apology of Your Loss series on Facebook. He played Michael Murphy in the HBO series The Leftovers and in 2019 appeared in Watchmen as Chief Justice. He was then nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a limited film or film. He also played the role of Larry Underwood in Stephen King's miniseries The Stand.
