K-pop artist who rose to prominence after winning the second season of Mnet's survival show Produce 101. In 2017, he founded the boy band Wanna One.

Kang Daniel is a Korean singer, songwriter and businessman. He rose to prominence in early 2017 as the first place winner of the second season of the reality pageant series Produce 101 and as a former member of the male spinoff group of the show Wanna One, he was successful both commercially and critically when promoting for a year and a half. After completing Wanna One's activities as a group, Kang quit working in the entertainment industry for 6 months and resumed his career. In mid-2019, he set up his own agency to manage his future activities as a solo artist and released his first expansion piece, Color on Me., Commercially successful, topped the Gaon album charts of Korea. His follow-up works from the Cyan and Magenta color series also topped the Gaon Album charts with the former singer's title track which earned Kang his first single in the top 10 in Korea.
