Kei Nishikori is a professional tennis player from Japan. He is the only Japanese male tennis player in history to make the top 5 in singles and first reached 4th in the world in singles in March 2015. He is currently ranked 40th in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Nishikori won 12 singles titles and was a finalist at the 2014 US Open, making him the first male player to represent an Asian country to reach the Grand Slam singles final. He also became the first man from Asia to qualify for the ATP World Tour finals and reached the semi-finals in 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Nishikori defeated Rafael Nadal to win a bronze medal at the Games Olympic. The summer of 2016, which brought Japan to its first Olympic tennis medal. for 96 years.
