Kevon Grant Looney is an American professional basketball player with the National Basketball Association's Golden State Warriors. As a rookie college basketball player with UCLA Bruins, he earned his second all-team league title in Pac-12 in 2014-15. After the season, he decided to give up his university status and competed in NBA Draft 2015, and was then selected by Golden State to enter the first round with the 30th final pick. He won a back-to-back NBA championship with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018. Growing up in Wisconsin, Looney was named the state's top high school player as a senior in 2014. He was also recognized nationally. as a five star prospect and won the All-American Honors. In his only season at UCLA, he led every freshman nationwide in doubles, scoring doubles in points and rebounds in 15 games. One of the best Pac-12 players, he was also named to their freshman squad.
