Kurtis Kiyoshi Suzuki is an American professional baseball catcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball Team. Previously he played for Oakland Athletics, Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals. Prior to playing professionally, Suzuki attended Cal State Fullerton and won the Johnny Bench Prize and the Brooks Wallace Prize. The track and field team summoned Suzuki in the second round of the MLB Draft in 2004. He made his MLB debut in 2007. In 2019, Suzuki won the national championship by winning the World Series. He has now won both the College World Series and the MLB World Series.
