Gallagher's debut solo album, As You Were, has proven it. a significant and commercial success. It topped the UK album chart and was the ninth best-selling debut album in 2010 in the UK, with over 103,000 units sold in its first week. In 2018, the album was certified Platinum with over 300,000 copies sold in the UK. His second album, Why Me? Why Not, which received most of the positive reviews and topped the UK charts when it was released in September 2019. This makes it his chart-topping tenth album, consisting of eight albums with Oasis, and it also went vinyl best-selling of 2019. One of the most recognizable albums for Gallagher is known for its distinctive singing style and straightforward, straightforward and abrasive personality.
