Darryl Kevin Richardson, known as Lil Scrappy, is an American rapper and record producer. Richardson was discovered by producer and performer Lil Jon while performing at a bar in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Along with his colleagues at the Trillville label, Lil Scrappy was one of the first to sign a contract with Lil Jon's BME Recordings. Richardson has built a reputation and a willingness to follow throughout the hip hop village of Atlanta and the Southeastern United States through a variety of mixtapes.
