Lindsey Olin Graham is a veteran American lawyer and politician from South Carolina, president he has served since 2003. As a member of the Republican Party, Graham has owned it. Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2019 to 2021. Originally from Central, South Carolina, Graham received his Ph.D. in Law from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1981. Most of his active service in the military was from 1982 to 1988, while he served in the Judges Assistance Corps. in the United States Air Force, as defense attorney, and later with the chief prosecutor of the European air force based in West Germany. Thereafter, all his service in the US Air Reserve ran concurrently with his career in Congress. He received a Bronze Star for Service Excellence in 2014. Graham worked as a private practice attorney before serving a term in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995.
