Luke Justin Roberts is an Australian sports director and former cyclist specializing in road and road cycling. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, he lives in both Adelaide and Cologne, Germany. Coming from a family of cyclists, he started cycling at the age of 13 and turned pro in 2002. He was a fellow of the Australian Sports Academy. and member of the Comnet Senges team, and of the CSC team from 2005 to 2007. As a specialist in individual and team pursuit, holds the Olympic gold medal and the world record with the team at the pursuit of Australia At the 2004 Summer Olympics, he was particularly instrumental in his team's success in timing test events. In 2003, he received the title of Australian Male Cyclist of the Year. In 2005, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the Australian Day Honors List.
