Marlisa Ann Punzalan, also known as Marlisa, is an Australian singer who won the sixth season of The X Factor Australia Contest in 2014. She became the youngest contestant to win the show at the age of 15. Punzalan then received a recording contract with Sony Music Australia and released his first single "Stand by You", which took second place on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum in Australian Music Industry Association 'recording. This was followed by the release of her debut album titled Marlisa, her debut album, which took No. 6 on the ARIA Album Chart and was certified Gold. "Stand by You" was nominated for ARIA's Song of the Year award in 2015
