Martyn Ashton is a former British mountain bike test rider and world champion, stuntman and team leader. He has competed professionally since 1993 and has been described as a mountain biking legend, and is credited with turning the equestrian experience into one of the rapidly growing areas of the sport of mountain biking. Ashton was paralyzed in an accident in 2013, during a bicycle test demonstration at the British Moto GP.
