About Martyn Waghorn
Former England Under-21 striker who joined Rangers in the Scottish Championship in 2015 after a season at Wigan Athletic. Between 2010 and 2014, he played 59 times for Leicester City on a permanent basis, however he was also loaned out to Hull City, Millwall, and Wigan Athletic during that time.
Martyn Thomas Waghorn is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Championship club Derby County. He is a former England international under the age of 21. Waghorn has been with Sunderland since the age of 8 and made his first-team debut for the club in December 2007, against Manchester United at 17. He was on loan with Charlton Athletic and Leicester City, before joining Leicester City. a permanent contract in August 2010. He played modestly for Leicester City, spending time on loan at Hull City, Millwall and Wigan Athletic, before signing a permanent contract in April 2014.
