Matthew Broderick is an American actor and singer. His roles include the Golden Globe nominated protagonist in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, voices Simba in Disney's The Lion King, and Leo Bloom in the Broadway musical The Producers, and the 2005 film adaption. its. Other movies he's starred in include WarGames, Glory, The Freshman, The Cable Guy, Godzilla, Election, Inspector Gadget, and You Can Count on Me. Broderick also headed into Infinity and voiced Good Boy !, Bee Movie and The Tale of Despereaux. Broderick won two Tony Awards, one for Best Actor in a Play for Memories of Brighton Beach and the other for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Being Real. In 2001, Broderick starred in Mel Brooks' musical The Producers alongside Nathan Lane. He then reunited with Lane in the Broadway revival of Terrence McNally's showbiz comedy It Only a Play.
