Randal Alexander Grichuk is an American professional baseball player for the Toronto Major League Baseball Blue Jays baseball team. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim placed him in the first round of a 2009 MLB Draft from Lamar Unified High School in Rosenberg, Texas. He played five seasons in the Angels mini-league system, dropping injury time but also developing a home header throughout. The Angels gave him to St. Louis Cardinals in November 2013, and he made his big league debut on April 28, 2014. Grichuk can strike for strength, provide speed and solid defense. He plays all 3 positions off the field, has strong arms and mostly patrols on the right in smaller tournaments. Originally slated to be a first baseman before the draft, he improved his off-court defense and won the Golden Gloves Award for all players playing right in the tournament. Small game in 2013
