Rita Joanne Simons is an English actress, singer and model from London. She is best known for playing Roxy Mitchell in the BBC opera EastEnders from 2007 to 2017, when her character was killed, along with the character's sister on screen, Ronnie Mitchell. For his performance on the show, Simons received numerous awards, including the 2008 National Television Award for Favorite New Actor. On November 12, 2018, Simons was confirmed to be joining this year's I Am a Celebrity series ... Get Me Out of Here !. She is the fourth to be eliminated on December 4, 2018 .
