Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. is an American anti-vaccine advocate, conspiracy theorist, author, and environmental lawyer. He is president of Children Health Defense, a vaccine advocacy group. Kennedy is the son of Robert F. Kennedy and the grandson of former US President John F. Kennedy. He is also chairman of the board of the Waterkeeper Alliance, a non-profit environmental group he helped found in 1999. From 1986 to 2017, Kennedy was a senior advisor to the Natural Resources Defense Council, non-profit environmental organization. From 1984 to 2017, he was a member of the board of directors and chief prosecutor of Hudson Riverkeeper. Prior to that, in his legal career, he served as an assistant district attorney in New York. For more than thirty years, Kennedy has been an assistant professor of environmental law at Pace University School of Law.
