Russell Watson is an English soprano who has released singles and albums of lyrical and pop-style songs. He started singing when he was a kid and became famous after playing in a workers' club. He was put in the spotlight in 1999 when he sang "God Save the Queen" at the Rugby League Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium, "Barcelona" in the final mid-season of the Premiership.
