Kero Kero Bonito is a British indie pop group from London. The group includes singer Sarah Midori Perry and producer and multi-instrumentalist Gus Lobban and Jamie Bulled. The meaning of their names is intentionally ambiguous, derived from the Japanese onomatopoeia for the cry of a frog and a fish. Other meanings include the quero-quero bird in Brazilian while "bonito" means "beautiful" in Portuguese and Spanish, as well as "Pretty Quero-quero" - or even "I want, I want to be beautiful "in rough translation.
