Cross-over soprano known for her vast vocal range and for becoming a divas in Turkish pop music. Her debut album, Calm Down, was released in 1992. This was followed by nine other albums, the most recent being Sade in 2013.

Sertab Erener is a Turkish singer, songwriter and composer. With her amazing soprano voice, she began working as a supporting vocalist for Sezen Aksu, and with Aksu's help, she released her first studio album in the 1990s. Due to her studies in classical music, she had difficulty playing pop music at first. Although she still does experimental works from time to time, she ultimately prefers to focus on creating pop music instead of creating avant-garde works, to make her music more accessible to a wider audience. In some of her works, she combines western and eastern music and takes advantage of classical Turkish operas and music with ethnic elements. With the introduction of the European market in the early 2000s, many of his works were sold in Turkey as well as in European countries.
