One of the founding members of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party, he is a Malaysian politician. He is well-known for his work as the party's Youth Chief and in the Muar and Malaysian legislatures. He's also a graduate of the prestigious Perdana Fellowship, where he mostly concentrated on activism. In 2020, he launched the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA), a youth-oriented political party.

Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman is a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Youth and Sports in the Pakatan Harapan administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 until the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He has also been a member of Congress from Muar since May 2018. He is a founding member of the United Indigenous Party of Malaysia, a former constituent party of the opposition PH coalition and each was the Youth Team Leader No. 1 of BERSATU since September 2016 after being dismissed from the party in May 2020. He was then co-founder of the United Democratic Union of Malaysia in September 2020. He is the youngest and youngest minister in office at 25 years old and the second youngest deputy after P. Prabakaran in Malaysia's history.
