Actor known for playing the role of Tom Shayes in the drama, Damages and who voiced the Greek hero, Hercules in the animated film.

Tate Buckley Donovan is an American actor and director best known for his role as Tom Shayes in Damages, Jimmy Cooper in The OC, and voicing the lead character in the 1997 Disney animated film Hercules, the animated series image of the same name and in some Kingdom Hearts video games. He also has supporting roles in films such as Good Night, Good Luck, and Argo. Donovan also played Brian Sanders in White House Hostage and Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau in 24: Live Another Day. He has been a guest star in a number of dramas, most notably Friends. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in the film Inside Monkey Zetterland. He also worked as a producer of 30 for 30 short films, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Reality or Non-Fiction Series.
