Tendai Mtawarira is a Zimbabwe-born South African Professional Rugby Federation player who played for Old Glory DC in Major League Rugby and earlier for the South African National Team and the Sharks in Super Rugby. He was born in Zimbabwe and qualified to travel to South Africa as a resident, before naturalizing South Africa. Mtawarira, an accessory, is known as The Beast. Mtawarira made his South Africa debut against Wales on June 14, 2008. With 117 caps, he is the most jersey player in South African history and the third most jersey player of all time after Victor Matfield and Bryan Habana. With 117 caps, Mtawarira is the 17th international forward of all time and the fifth most caps of all time. He is also the winner of the 2019 Rugby World Cup
