Veronica Sandra Karin Maggio is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Born to an Italian father and a Swedish mother, Maggio grew up in Uppsala. After studying music and being a member of a band, Maggio released his first single, "Dumpa mig" in 2006 under the name Universal Music. His debut album, Vatten och bröd, achieved commercial success and helped Maggio win a Grammi Award for "Årets nykomling". Since his debut, Maggio has released five more albums under the Universal label, four of which topped the charts in Sweden. In addition, 26 of his songs became the top 20 hits in Sweden. She had three of the number one hits in Europe with "Måndagsbarn" in Norway and "Jag kommer" and "Hornstullsstrand" in Sweden. In addition to her solo releases, she has written songs for other artists including "Hey Brother" for Avicii.
