Yasmien Kurdi-Soldevilla is a Filipino singer-songwriter, actor and business model. She was in the final four of the first season of StarStruck, a reality-based talent show by GMA Network in the Philippines where she finished first. She received the title of Pop Lovers of the Philippines. Yasmien Kurdi graduated with honors from Arellano University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is known for her roles as Mira in the hit series Encantadia, Salve Dizon de Leon in the Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita remake, and Shayne Rodrigo in the hit Saan Darating Ang Umaga? Remake, a role in original by Maricel Soriano. She is also known in Rhodora X as Angela, Dolores in the afternoon hit drama Yagit and Ysabel in the hit TV series Sa Piling ni Nanay that has been hit many times due to its soaring ratings. As a singer, Kurdi has released two studio albums.
