Day began recording music as a teenager, releasing her debut album, Powered by Love, in 2009. After her success, Day worked as a musician for BMG Publishing Group and eventually signed an artist contract with Hollywood Records. In 2015, Day released his first studio album, Kicker, followed by the singles "Hypnotic" and "East of Eden". Day follows the outing with promotional appearances for publications including Vogue, Playboy and The Huffington Post, and on TV shows including Late Night with Seth Meyers and Conan.
