Zheng is one of China's most successful tennis players. She has won four single titles WTA - Hobart in 2005, Estoril, Stockholm in 2006 and Auckland in 2012. She also won 15 doubles titles, including 11 with Yan Zi, including Wimbledon and the Australian Open in 2006. She won the mixed doubles medal with Yan Zi at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
