Adelmo Fornaciari, better known by the stage name Zucchero Fornaciari or simply Zucchero, is an Italian singer-songwriter. Her stage name is the Italian word meaning "sugar", as her elementary school teacher called her. His music is mainly inspired by gospel, soul, blues and rock, alternating between Italian ballads and more rhythmic tracks like R&B-boogie. He is considered the "father of Italian blues", bringing blues to the big stage in Italy. He is one of the few European blues artists still having great international success.
