Andy Samberg is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer and musician. He is a member of the comedy band The Lonely Island and a member of the show Saturday Night Live, where he and his colleagues have been recognized for popularizing SNL Digital Shorts. Samberg has appeared in a number of films, including Hot Rod, I Love You, Man, That's My Boy, Celeste and Jesse Forever, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and Palm Springs. Samberg has starred in Space Chimps, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the Hotel Transylvania series, and Storks. Since 2013, he played the role of Jake Peralta in Fox, then NBC, the crime sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, for which he is also the producer. For his work on the show, he received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy Drama in 2013.
