Holly Rene Holm is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She is a former UFC women's Bantamweight champion and a former professional boxer and boxer. She has won many world boxing championships, 18 times defending the title in three weight classes and twice as Martial Arts Master of the Year in Ring magazine. She was ranked by BoxRec as the best professional martial artist of all time. She has the notable difference of becoming the first female boxer to hold the world boxing belt and the UFC belt. Holm's most notable win in mixed martial arts was at UFC 193, in front of a record crowd for a UFC event in Melbourne, when she won a bantamweight and caused Ronda Rousey to lose her first game in the sport. This war is considered by many to be one of the biggest upheavals in combat sports history. As of Oct. 19, 2020, she is ranked 2nd in the UFC Women's Bantamweight Chart and 8th in the UFC Women's Pound-for-Pound Chart.
