Miguel Pérez Cuesta, known as Michu, is a former Spanish professional footballer who has played as a striker or attacking midfielder, and is the technical secretary of Real Oviedo. He started playing for Real Oviedo, then representing Celta and Rayo Vallecano, making his La Liga debut with the team thereafter in 2011–12. In 2012, he signed for Swansea City, scored 22 goals in all competitions in his debut season and won the League Cup. Despite the performances that saw him making his international debut for Spain in 2013, Michu was unpopular in Swansea and debuted in November 2015 .
