Lee Jin-ki, known as Onew, is a South Korean actor and singer. Born in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Onew was discovered during SM Academy 2006 casting and signed with SM Entertainment one day after the audition. He debuted as one of the main vocalists and conductor of boy group Shinee in May 2008, the group has become one of the best-selling artists in Korea. In addition to group activities, Onew has also appeared in various dramas, famous for his role as Baek Su in JTBC's sitcom Welcome to Royal Villa and cardio resident Lee Chi-hoon in the popular drama.
