Reece Mastin is a British Australian singer and songwriter who won the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011. Mastin then signed with Sony Music Australia. Her debut single "Good Night" reached number one in Australia and New Zealand, and became Sony Music Australia's best-selling digital single. Mastin's debut album of the same name took second place on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified dual platinum. Her second studio album, Beautiful Nightmare, featured hit singles "Shut Up & Kiss Me" and "Shout It Out", her second album to become Mastin's second number one single in Australia. "Good Night" and "Shout It Out" earned him two ARIA No.1 Chart Awards. In 2015, Mastin broke up with Sony and signed a contract with an independent company, Social Family Records. Her third studio album, Change Colors, was released in October 2015 and came at No. 12. In 2018, Reece released a new EP titled The Vali of Stories under the name MASTIN.
