Shayna Andrea Baszler is an American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist. She signed with WWE, where she played on the Raw franchise and is currently half of the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Nia Jax during their record-breaking Second Dynasty. Baszler was trained in mixed martial arts by former UFC boxer Josh Barnett and captured wrestling by Billy Robinson. She had her first professional MMA match in 2006 and was recognized in subsequent years for her use of the hammer lock adjustment on her back; a framework she used to overpower a number of opponents, including Roxanne Modafferi. In an audio interview on Sherdog Radio Network, she named the submission she created during training, "Shwing".
