Parker Christian Posey is an American actress and musician. She regularly works with Christopher Guest and has appeared in a number of his mock documentaries, such as Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration and Mascots. Posey is the recipient of a Golden Globe Award, a Satellite Award nomination and two Independent Spirit Award nominations. Posey had her film debut in Joey Breaker. After her minor roles in Coneheads and the hit classic Dazed and Confused, she became known as the "Queen of India" for starring in indie films throughout the 1990s, such as Sleep with Me, Frisk, Party Girl, The Doom Generation, Kicking and Screaming, The Daytrippers, Henry Fool, The House of Yes and Clockwatchers.
